Last year, as most people reading this will know already, I took a show called Joz Norris Has Gone Missing to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It went pretty well but, like all creative projects, there were good days and bad days.
Most of the time, all the general public will hear about comedians at the Fringe is tales of success and glamour and excitement, but last year filmmaker Howard Cohen decided to try and document the darker side of the Fringe - the heartache, the tears and the struggle. To be honest, I actually had a really amazing time last year, so my tone here is largely one of cautious optimism rather than genuine frustration, but the documentary gives a light-hearted glimpse into the private torments of the Fringe comedian. Also featuring Lee Kern, Rhys Nicholson and Harry Deansway.
