For those of you looking for a fun time to celebrate Hallowe'en this weekend, here's a couple of suggestions. Tonight, Weirdos Comedy's resident spook-master Matthew Highton will be taking over Bob's BlundaBus in Hackney for a night of ghostly stories, face-painting and horrifying comedy nonsense featuring a cast of Weirdos favourites including myself, Adam Larter, Ali Brice, Katia Kvinge, Joe Davies, Eleanor Morton and Liberty Hodes. I'll be going as a zombie version of The Healing Game-era Van Morrison. Details here.
And tomorrow night the Weirdos are back again, this time taking over the Leicester Square Theatre to stage our unofficial Harry Potter sequel, Harry Potter And The Inappropriate Hallowe'en, in association with Laugh Out London. The story explores the post-Hogwarts careers of Harry and friends and stars Adam Larter as Harry Potter, Eleanor Morton as Ginny Weasley, Matt Tedford as Ron Weasley, Marny Godden as Hermione Granger, myself as Draco Malfoy, Jon Brittain as Hagrid, Cassie Atkinson as Professor McGonagall and Moaning Myrtle, Gareth Morinan as Dumbledore and Sooz Kempner as Taylor Swift, plus support from Jack De'Ath, Christian Brighty and Ali Brice in an undisclosed guest role. I've choreographed an entire dance routine to Shake It Off, so that's worth the ticket price alone. Details here.
