Londonist on the Heroes Grotto of Comedy

Further column inches for the Heroes Grotto of Comedy here - Londonist have written their own article about the best upcoming Christmas comedy shows, which you can read here, dedicating most of it to some of the highlights from the programme at the HoHo Theatre. I've now managed to wheedle my way into about half of the shows playing at the Grotto this year, so I'm involved in three of their top picks - the fourth annual Weirdos panto, of course, entitled Weirdos For Christmas Number One, in which I'll be playing a needy clarinettist; Comedian's Cinema Club's reinterpretation of Frozen, in which I'll be playing Olaf the snowman again; and the Alternative Christmas Comedy Memorial Society, in which I'll be reprising my month-long joke from this year's Edinburgh Fringe, and also playing the Virgin Mary in a Nativity scene. Londonist have also picked out the Bearpit Podcast (Podcas), featuring Adam Hess, Fin Taylor, Mat Ewins, Matt Winning, Lolly Adefope and John Kearns; and Laugh Out London's Big Comedy Weekend for Shelter, featuring Stewart Lee, Harry Hill, Isy Suttie, John Kearns, Henning Wehn, LetLuce, Spencer Jones and many more.

Elsewhere in the Grotto, I'll also be infiltrating a comedy industry pub quiz hosted by David Mills, posing as Horse & Hound reporter Jizz Nostrils, and helping Matthew Highton and Bob Slayer with their Santageddon Ghost Tour: Backstage at the HoHo Theatre. Full listings for the Grotto can be found here.

Londonist have also featured some great comedy picks outside the Grotto too, including sketch mash-up Massive Lazy Girls (a crossover special featuring sketch acts Massive Dad, Lazy Susan and Birthday Girls); Josie Long's Christmas Miracle and Tim Key's traditional Father Slutmas show. As ever, honoured to be in their company.
