New Year, New Comedy

Just a quick little shout-out about a couple of special gigs coming up this week. If you're looking to kick off 2016 with a bit of a laugh, then look no further!

On Tuesdy 5th, Adam Larter and I are doing a work-in-progress double bill at Camden Comedy Club. We'll be roughly working through some of our ideas for both Swansea and Leicester (although the specific technical and spacial requirements of my Leicester show mean I can't really do a proper preview of it). I'll be doing a very rough-and-ready version of some of the ideas I have for this year's Edinburgh show, and Adam will be premiereing his new play, which co-stars myself, Marny Godden and Cassie Atkinson.

And on Friday 8th, also at Camden Comedy Club, Laugh Out London takes over for the third year running to celebrate New Year's with its LOL's Holland New Year Hootananny, where Tom Crowley of Sad Faces will be reprising his role as Jools Holland. A bunch of weirdos and silly people will be impersonating musicians as Jools's guests. In 2013, myself and Marny Godden and Tom Turner played Fleetwood Mac, and last year I played Prince. This year I'll be taking to the stage as Neil Young. Lots of fun will be had by all. Do come.
