2 Chortle Reviews and a Londonist Plug
Just a couple of nice little shout-outs in the comedy press, for those that like to follow that sort of thing. Firstly, today sees two very nice reviews from Chortle for some of my work - firstly this review of all 12 comedy sketches/shorts that constituted Turtle Canyon Comedy's big summer playlist that were released today, including mine and Matthew Highton's Robert Johnson & The Devil Man. They're only short little precis reviews, but are nicely complimentary about the short, so thanks to them for that. And here's a review of yesterday's Heroes of Fringe launch show at the Soho Theatre with lots of nice things to say about the abundant imagination on show last night. It's nice to have my act acknowledged as being deliberately low-rent for once.
And finally, here's a lovely list by the Londonist of the top things to do in London this week that includes a plug for mine and John Kearns' free preview double bill tomorrow at the Rose & Crown in Kentish Town, many thanks to them for featuring us. The link they post has now sold out, but there are limited free seat reservations available on Yplan here - book ahead as it looks like the show might sell out!
