As comedy fans will know, there are a few events in the spring and summer months that act as little taster menus for the Edinburgh Fringe in August - the likes of Leicester Comedy Festival in February, All Day Edinburgh in April and Machynlleth Comedy Festival in May. One of the last ones of these is the Actually Rather Good Comedy Festival, now in its fifth year, which runs this weekend and will feature loads of full previews of Edinburgh shows across three rooms and two days. I'm very excited and honoured to be involved this year and, while I won't be performing a full preview myself, I'll be MCing one of the stages on Sunday from 12-4pm. There are loads of other amazing acts both MCing and doing shows, and it'll be difficult to find many other weekend festivals where you can see as many exciting shows. You can browse through the full lineup here. Many thanks to James for having me!
