Tickets are on sale for next week's Boring Talks at the British Library, an event I've mentioned here before. The Boring Conference happens every year and features guest speakers talking about really boring, mundane, trivial, irrelevant things that they feel very passionate about. This year the British Library is hosting some spin-off talks from the main conference, which will include, among other things, me trying to explain why a power station in the Midlands is my favourite place in the entire world and, tangentially, what I think spirituality is, because I think the two subjects are closely related. I'm gonna be so boring, it's gonna be great. Here's a picture of me making my obeisances to Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station on the horizon. Tickets are available here.
