British Comedy Guide on the Alternative Comedy Now Conference

Just thought I'd share this really interesting piece by Sarah Slack at the British Comedy Guide, who writes up the first day of lectures at the Alternative Comedy Now Conference at the University of Kent. Lecturers including Sophie Quirk, Marianna Keisalo and Sarah herself have been giving talks on various aspects of the history of alternative comedy, and in this write-up Sarah is kind enough to name-check something stupid I did a couple of years ago, while a couple of the lectures pay tribute to the significance of ACMS and Weirdos in the ongoing development of alternative comedy. Very humbling and lovely to be made to feel like a tiny part of history.
