Tickets are now available for the week-long online event I've been working on with Objectively Funny to present a new film adaptation of my 2020 live show, You Build The Thing You Think You Are. You can book them and find out more information here.
I started work on this show in November. I abandoned it in March. I rewrote it as a film in May, and I've been shooting and editing it over the last month. I'm really excited about it. Please do book tickets!
The Edinburgh Fringe has been a huge part of my life for nearly a decade, and I've spent the last couple of months trying to find ways of recreating what it means to me elsewhere by making something new. This is what I've come up with. I've written and produced a film which I hope will feel like watching an Edinburgh show - the feeling of being spoken to and told a story, and at any moment being able to dip into the imagination of the performer and see something strange and unusual and imaginative.
I'm thrilled to be working with my director from last year, Alex Hardy, and the incredible team at Objectively Funny on it. I hope it does something a tiny bit new and different in the strange new landscape of online comedy and that you all enjoy it.
Big love also to Battersea Arts Centre - the show only exists because of the space and support they gave me to develop it in February. It also features voice cameos from the likes of Harriet Kemsley, Thom Tuck and Tom Bell. I'm very lucky to have so many wonderful people helping me with it.
