Joz Norris Is Hugh Jackman Is The Phantom Of The Opera has somehow leapfrogged the “Best New Show” category to be nominated for Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival after its second ever performance.

I can only take this to mean that the show in its current form is perfect and requires no more work. I now plan to spend the next year and a half complacently relying on this early success to prop up my refusal to develop it any further, before premiering it fully in 2027 to widespread disappointment and then wishing I’d worked on it harder.
